The world wants to believe that exercise alone can fix almost any problem with your body, and what exercise does not resolve… surgery will. The reality is that if a muscle is “shut down” or incapable of contracting, exercise alone will NOT improve the function of that muscle. The muscle must first be “turned on,” or activated, in order for any exercise to improve quality and performance required of muscles during sport and motion. When all of your muscles are functioning optimally, it is only then that you can perform at your best!
